Maybole Community Charette

Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, studio 42 design were invited to provided architectural input to a three day engagement workshop involving local groups, charities, schools and open to the general public.

The team consisted of: architects, urban designers, landscape architects, financial consultants, road & transport consultants, tourism consultants, artists, and heritage and culture consultants.

The workshop aimed to assist the community to consider the existing High street and town center; identify current issues and explore how it might altered and improved in the future.

The findings were published in a report, and led to the development of a wider Maybole Township Regeneration Project with support from the Scottish Government, Local Authority, Historic Lottery Fund and Historic Environment Scotland.
